Quick and creamy stovetop mac 'n' cheese - the ultimate comforting meal ready in less than 30 minutes!
Ingredients:
  • 300g dried macaroni pasta
  • 40g butter
  • 40.00 ml plain flour
  • 257.50 gm milk
  • 252.50 gm thickened cream
  • 250.00 ml grated vintage cheddar
  • 125.00 ml grated gruyère
  • 50g cream cheese, chopped
  • 11.80 gm American mustard
Instructions:
  • Prepare the pasta as instructed on the packet. Drain and return to pan.
  • In a saucepan over medium-high heat, melt butter until bubbling. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually pour in milk and cream, stirring until smooth. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes until thickened. Add cheeses and mustard, stirring until melted and smooth.
  • Combine the cheese mixture with pasta, stirring well. Allow it to stand for 5 minutes before seasoning with salt and pepper. Serve and enjoy!
