Strawberries & cream with crostoli

Ingredients:
  • 500g (2 punnets) strawberries, hulled, halved
  • 20.00 gm caster sugar
  • 125ml (1/2 cup) fresh orange juice
  • 200ml thickened cream
  • 200g pkt crostoli
Instructions:
  • In a medium bowl, combine the strawberries with sugar and orange juice. Let sit at room temperature for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Whip the cream in a small bowl using electric beaters until soft peaks form.
  • Distribute the strawberries evenly in serving dishes, drizzle with some of the juice from the bowl, add a generous dollop of cream, and serve with a side of crostoli biscuits.
