Strawberry Bunny Cupcakes

Festive Easter cupcakes with charming details like ramen noodle "whiskers" and candy "cotton tail."
Ingredients:
  • 24 regular-size pink paper baking cups
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Delights Super Moist™ Strawberry Cake Mix
  • Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on cake mix box
  • 2 bags (12 oz each) white candy melts
  • 2 bags (12 oz each) pink candy melts
  • 24 white candy-coated chocolate candies
  • 3 tubs (12 oz) Betty Crocker™ Whipped Strawberry Mist™ Frosting
  • 48 miniature semisweet chocolate chips
  • 24 pink candy-coated chocolate candies
  • 24 miniature red candy hearts
  • 24 uncooked somen noodles, each broken into 6 pieces
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pans) and line 24 regular-size muffin cups with pink paper baking cups.
  • Prepare and bake the cake mix for cupcakes following the instructions on the box, using water, oil, and eggs. Allow the cupcakes to cool for 10 minutes, then transfer them from the pans to cooling racks. Let them cool completely for about 30 minutes before serving.
  • Prepare a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Follow the package instructions to melt white candy melts, then transfer the melted candy into a squirt bottle. Use the squirt bottle to draw 48 bunny ears on the parchment paper. Melt pink candy melts, pour into another squirt bottle, and fill in the middle of the white ears with pink candy. Refrigerate until firm, about 30 minutes.
  • Dip a drop of melted white candy to adhere 1 white candy-coated chocolate candy to a paper baking cup to create a bunny tail. Hold for 30 seconds until secure. Repeat with the rest of the white candy-coated chocolate candies.
  • Frost each cupcake generously with 3 tablespoons of frosting. Decorate the front of each cupcake with 2 chocolate chips for eyes, 1 pink candy-coated chocolate candy for the nose, and an upside-down red candy heart for the mouth. Place 3 noodle pieces on each side of the nose for whiskers, and gently press 2 ears into the top of each cupcake.
