Whip up a delightful strawberry cake with luscious frosting in no time using cake mix, strawberry gelatin, and frozen strawberries.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
  • 1 (3 ounce) package strawberry flavored Jell-O® mix
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup water
  • 0.66666668653488 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen strawberries
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 4.75 cups confectioners' sugar
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour three 9-inch round pans.
  • Combine cake mix, gelatin mix, and flour in a large bowl. Create a well in the center and add water, oil, and eggs. Mix in half of the strawberries. Beat on low speed until well combined, then scrape down the sides of the bowl and beat for 4 minutes on medium speed. Pour the batter into the prepared pans.
  • Place the cake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted in the center. Let the cake cool.
  • For a delicious strawberry frosting: Whip together butter, confectioners' sugar, and the rest of the frozen strawberries in a large bowl until smooth and creamy.
