Elevate sugar cookies with strawberry cream cheese swirls for effortless charm and flavor. No need for extra decorating - simply adorn before baking.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Sugar Cookie Mix
  • 1/4 cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 4 oz strawberry cream cheese, softened
  • 2 teaspoons grated lemon peel
  • 1 egg
  • Neon pink food color, if desired
  • Assorted candy sprinkles
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F and prepare a cookie sheet lined with cooking parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, combine cookie mix, flour, softened cream cheese, lemon peel, and egg until a soft dough forms. Add food coloring until you reach your desired neon pink color. Roll the dough out to 1/4 inch thick on a lightly floured surface. Use a 2 1/2- to 3-inch heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut out the shapes. Arrange the cutouts 1 inch apart on a cookie sheet. Enhance the cookies by pressing assorted sprinkles into the dough before baking.
  • Bake for 7 to 9 minutes until edges turn light golden brown. Transfer from baking sheet to cooling rack and let cool completely for about 15 minutes.
