Ingredients:
  • 525.00 gm apple juice
  • 500g strawberries, hulled and roughly chopped
  • 20.00 gm caster sugar
  • 12.00 gm gelatine
  • 20.00 gm cold water
Instructions:
  • Combine apple juice and half of the strawberries in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Simmer for 2 minutes, then strain the mixture through a fine sieve without pressing on the strawberries. Return the liquid to the saucepan and discard the strawberries.
  • Combine sugar with strawberry liquid and gently heat until fully dissolved.
  • Combine gelatine and water in a small bowl, then mix it with the strawberry liquid over low heat until the gelatine dissolves. Pour the mixture into plastic drink cups and let it cool slightly before refrigerating for 1 hour.
  • Once the jelly begins to set, delicately fold in the rest of the strawberries. Chill in the fridge until completely set.
