Spiced citrus buttery sweet potato casserole with streusel topping.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups half-and-half
  • 2 1/2 cups boiling water
  • 6 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 pouches (5.6 oz) Betty Crocker™ sweet potato mashed potatoes
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated orange peel
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup pecan halves or chopped pecans
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Combine half-and-half, boiling water, and melted butter in a 2-quart casserole dish. Stir in 2 pouches of potatoes along with the remaining potato ingredients until well mixed.
  • Combine brown sugar and flour in a small bowl. Use a fork to incorporate 2 tablespoons of butter until the mixture is crumbly. Add pecans and sprinkle over the top.
  • Bake without a cover for 28 to 30 minutes until the topping turns golden brown.
