These mini phyllo appetizers are filled with delicious ingredients like spinach, mushrooms, garlic, cheese, and bacon, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients:
  • 30 mini phyllo tart shells
  • 1 (12 ounce) package frozen spinach souffle (such as Stouffer's®)
  • 2 teaspoons unsalted butter
  • 2.5 cups diced fresh mushrooms
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese, or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley, or to taste
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange phyllo shells on top.
  • Take the souffle out of the box, discard the plastic cover, and microwave on High power for 6 minutes. Carefully remove, stir, and set aside.
  • In a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter. Saute mushrooms until they darken and shrink, approximately 4 minutes. Stir in garlic for 1 minute. Remove from heat and blend in souffle and bacon until well mixed.
  • Divide the souffle mixture evenly among the phyllo shells, filling each with about 1 rounded teaspoon. Top each filled shell with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese.
  • Simply bake in the preheated oven for approximately 15 minutes until the cheese is beautifully melted. Serve while still warm or at room temperature and top it off with a sprinkle of fresh parsley.
