Stuffing muffins for extra crispy tops in each bite.
Ingredients:
  • 0.75 cup butter
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • 2 teaspoons poultry seasoning
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper, or to taste
  • 1 cup Swanson® Chicken Broth
  • 1 (1 pound) loaf sliced white bread (air dried at least 2 hours), cut into cubes
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and grease 18 muffin cups with butter.
  • In a large stock pot or Dutch oven, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion and celery and cook until soft, about 8 minutes. Season with poultry seasoning, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat.
  • Combine bread cubes with vegetables, ensuring bread cubes are fully coated. Add Swanson® Chicken Broth and mix thoroughly. Press 1/4 cup of the mixture into buttered muffin tin cups.
  • Bake in a hot oven until muffin tops are beautifully golden brown, for about 35 minutes.
