Festive holiday bars with chocolate candies, vanilla chips, and sugar cookie mix, great for cookie exchanges!
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Sugar Cookie Mix
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup white vanilla baking chips
  • 1 cup M&M's® chocolate candies
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F and generously spray the bottom of a 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray.
  • Combine the cookie mix, butter, and egg in a large bowl until a soft dough forms. Mix in the white vanilla baking chips and 1/2 cup of candies. Press the dough into the bottom of a pan and sprinkle the remaining candies on top.
  • Bake until edges are golden brown and center is still soft, typically 22 to 24 minutes. Let cool on a rack for about 1 hour. Cut into 6 by 4 rows and store in an airtight container.
