Honey-infused sugar cookies, chilled and cut into fun shapes before baking.
Ingredients:
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 cup butter, softened
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions:
  • Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl, then set it aside.
  • In a bowl, cream butter with an electric mixer until smooth. Beat in sugar. Incorporate egg, honey, and lemon juice, mixing thoroughly. Stir in flour until dough is well combined.
  • Chill dough wrapped in wax paper in the refrigerator for 8 hours to overnight.
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare baking sheets by lining them with parchment paper.
  • On a lightly floured surface, use a floured rolling pin to roll out the dough to your preferred thickness. Use your favorite cookie cutters to create shapes, then place the cookies 1 inch apart on the baking sheets.
  • Bake until beautifully golden brown, about 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven.
