Savory hummus with garbanzo beans, tahini, lemon juice, and olive oil, elevated with sun-dried tomatoes and fennel seed.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups cooked garbanzo beans
  • 0.5 cup tahini
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 8 oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
  • 0.5 teaspoon fennel seed
  • 0.25 cup chopped onion
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • cayenne pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • In a food processor, combine garbanzo beans, tahini, sun-dried tomatoes, lemon juice, olive oil, and maple syrup. Blend until creamy. Add fennel seed, nutritional yeast, and onion; blend until smooth. Season with salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper to taste.
