Delicious crab surimi sandwich on French bread with Muenster and Colby-Jack cheeses, avocado, tomato, and sprouts.
Ingredients:
  • 1 loaf unsliced French bread
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise, or as needed
  • 2 tablespoons mustard, or as needed
  • 16 ounces surimi (imitation crabmeat)
  • 4 slices Muenster cheese
  • 4 slices colby jack cheese
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • 1 avocado, pitted, peeled and sliced
  • 2 cups alfalfa sprouts
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • Cut loaf in half lengthwise, then hollow out each half. Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half and mustard on the top half.
  • Spread a generous layer of surimi into the base of the hollowed-out bread. Top with a mix of melty Muenster and flavorful Colby-Jack cheeses, followed by fresh tomato slices, creamy avocado, and crisp sprouts. Season with a sprinkle of salt and pepper. Close the sandwich with the top piece of bread and slice the loaf into 6 tasty sandwiches. Enjoy!
