Create a savory ground beef stroganoff with a rich, onion-infused sauce. Serve over tender egg noodles tossed with peas for a quick and delicious meal.
Ingredients:
  • 5 teaspoons beef bouillon granules
  • 5 cups boiling water
  • 0.5 teaspoon onion powder, or to taste, divided
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried minced onion, or to taste
  • 1 pinch garlic powder, or to taste
  • 1 (10 ounce) package egg noodles, or more to taste
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 0.5 white onion, chopped
  • 0.5 pound ground beef
  • 1 dash ground black pepper
  • 0.25 cup all-purpose flour, or more as needed
Instructions:
  • In a large bowl, melt the bouillon in boiling water. Transfer some of the broth to a separate pot for cooking the noodles.
  • First, bring the flavorful broth to a boil in a pot then toss in onion powder, dried onion, and garlic powder. Next, introduce the egg noodles and bring back to a boil. Cook for approximately 12 minutes until they are tender yet firm to the bite. Drain and combine with frozen peas before covering.
  • In a saucepan, melt butter over medium-high heat. Saute onions until translucent for about 5 minutes. Add ground beef and cook until no longer pink, 5 to 7 minutes. Mix in onion powder and pepper. Stir in flour and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Pour in reserved broth and bring to a boil. Cook until beef sauce thickens, about 5 to 7 minutes, stirring to prevent lumps.
  • Top a plate of noodles with the savory meat sauce.
