30-minute buttery shortcake biscuits topped with fresh strawberries and cream.
Ingredients:
  • 2.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 3 tablespoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 cup shortening
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1.5 cups milk
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously grease a 12-cup muffin tin.
  • Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. Add shortening and mix until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs and milk. Combine with the dry ingredients until just moistened. Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups and promptly transfer to the oven.
  • Bake until beautifully golden for around 20 minutes in the preheated oven.
