Ultimate party nachos: loaded with beef, beans, salsa, jalapeños, and gooey cheese on crispy chips.
Ingredients:
  • aluminum foil
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 0.75 cup water
  • 1 (1.25 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
  • 1 (18 ounce) package restaurant-style tortilla chips
  • 1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese, or more to taste
  • 1 (15.5 ounce) can refried beans
  • 1 (10 ounce) can pitted black olives, drained and chopped
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 cup sour cream, or more to taste
  • 4 green onions, diced
  • 1 (4 ounce) can sliced jalapeno peppers, drained
Instructions:
  • Preheat the broiler in your oven and position the rack 6 inches from the heat source. Cover a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  • Prepare all ingredients for a delightful culinary experience.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, crumble and brown ground beef until no longer pink, about 5-10 minutes. Drain excess grease. Add water and taco seasoning mix, then simmer until thickened, about 8-10 minutes.
  • Arrange a layer of tortilla chips on the baking sheet. Cover with a generous amount of Cheddar cheese, followed by dollops of refried beans and seasoned ground beef mixture.
  • Broil until the cheese is gooey, about 3 to 5 minutes. Then, garnish the nachos with olives, salsa, sour cream, green onions, and jalapeño peppers.
