Elevate your Spring BBQ with this flavorful and exotic side dish.
Ingredients:
  • 187.50 ml burghul (cracked wheat), rinsed
  • 750.00 ml fresh flat-leaf parsley leaves, chopped (see tip)
  • 187.50 ml fresh mint leaves, chopped (see tip)
  • 3 medium tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 1 small white onion, finely chopped
  • 36.40 gm classic olive oil
  • 86.63 gm lemon juice
Instructions:
  • In a bowl, place the burghul and cover it with boiling water. Let it stand for 20 minutes until softened. Drain and rinse under cold water, then press out excess water with a metal spoon.
  • Combine burghul, parsley, mint, tomato, and onion in a bowl. Mix well.
  • Combine oil and lemon juice in a jar, secure the lid, shake well to mix. Drizzle the dressing over the tabbouleh, season with salt and pepper, toss to combine, and serve.
