Try these delicious Swedish chocolate balls, a simple and energizing snack filled with oats, cocoa, coffee, and coconut oil!
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups quick-cooking rolled oats
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 3.5 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 pinch kosher salt
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 0.25 cup coconut oil, at room temperature
  • 2 tablespoons strong brewed coffee
  • 0.5 cup unsweetened grated coconut, or as needed
Instructions:
  • In a heated pan over medium heat, toast oats until fragrant and lightly golden, about 5 to 7 minutes.
  • In a bowl, mix together sugar, cocoa powder, salt, cayenne, butter, coconut oil, vanilla extract, and coffee. Stir in the oats until well combined.
  • Use a sorbet scoop to shape dough into balls. Coat the balls generously with grated coconut and place them on a parchment-lined baking pan. Chill in the fridge for 15 to 20 minutes to set.
