Elevate Betty Crocker brownie mix with a few simple steps for irresistible treats!
Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 box (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Delights Supreme Original Brownie Mix
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Vanilla Frosting
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped pretzels
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped mixed nuts
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Combine crushed pretzels, sugar, and butter in a medium bowl. Press the mixture into an ungreased 13x9-inch pan. Bake for 8 minutes. Allow it to cool for 20 minutes before serving.
  • Combine brownie mix, chocolate syrup pouch, water, oil, and eggs in a medium bowl until well mixed. Gently spread the batter over the cooled crust.
  • Bake for 19 to 22 minutes until a toothpick comes out almost clean. Allow to cool completely on a rack for about 1 hour.
  • Cover the cooled brownies generously with smooth vanilla frosting, then add a crunchy and flavorful topping of chopped pretzels and nuts. Finish by slicing the brownies into 24 equal squares for serving.
