Ingredients:
  • 1/2 large red cabbage, sliced 1/4-inch thick
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • Kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
Instructions:
  • In a large pot over medium heat, melt butter. Add thinly sliced red cabbage and toss to coat. Sauté until slightly wilted, around 5 minutes.
  • Sprinkle sugar over the cabbage and toss to evenly coat. Add the balsamic vinegar and simmer on medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, for 30-45 minutes until cabbage is tender yet firm.
