Whip up this easy homemade cornbread in just 10 minutes prep time, then pop it in the oven for a delicious meal. Can also make cornbread muffins in a flash!
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 1/4 cups yellow, white or blue cornmeal
  • 1 cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F and generously grease a 9x1 1/2-inch round pan or an 8x8x2-inch square pan.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the milk, butter, and egg until combined. Add the remaining ingredients all at once and stir until the flour is just moistened (don't worry about the lumps). Pour the batter into the pan.
  • Bake until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, about 20-25 minutes.
