Grilled beef skewers marinated in sweet soy-pineapple mixture for a delicious party appetizer.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups light brown sugar
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 0.5 cup pineapple juice
  • 0.5 cup water
  • 0.25 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large garlic cloves, chopped
  • 4 pounds boneless round steak, cut into 1/4-inch slices
  • bamboo skewers, soaked in water
Instructions:
  • Combine brown sugar, soy sauce, pineapple juice, water, vegetable oil, and garlic in a large bowl. Add beef slices and coat well. Cover with plastic wrap.
  • Allow the beef to marinate in the fridge for 24 hours.
  • Take out the beef from the marinade, giving it a shake to remove any extra liquid. Dispose of the marinade.
  • Skewer the beef slices in a charming zig-zag pattern.
  • Get the grill ready by preheating it to medium heat and giving the grate a light coating of oil.
  • Grill skewers until beef is perfectly cooked, about 3 minutes on each side.
