Tender beef tongue, infused with sweet teriyaki sauce, alongside grilled pineapple slices.
Ingredients:
  • 3 pounds beef tongue
  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 (20 ounce) can pineapple rings, drained
Instructions:
  • In a large stockpot, submerge the tongue in water. Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat and simmer for 2 hours. Allow the tongue to cool for 1 hour. Remove and discard the skin from the tongue.
  • Place the tongue on a cutting board and slice it into 1/2-inch pieces. generously coat both sides with flavorful teriyaki sauce.
  • Prepare the outdoor grill by heating it to medium heat and greasing the grate lightly with oil.
  • Grill pineapple and tongue slices for 6 minutes, turning them over once midway through cooking.
