Tender beef strips marinated in sweet teriyaki and soy sauce with a hint of pineapple and garlic, a flavorful smoked jerky recipe.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups teriyaki sauce
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 dash Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.25 pound fresh pineapple, peeled
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 pounds beef round, cut into 1/2-inch thick strips
Instructions:
  • Combine the teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce in a large bowl.
  • Blend the pineapple and garlic until smooth in a food processor or blender. Combine the pineapple mixture and teriyaki sauce in a resealable plastic bag. Add the beef, coat it with the marinade, remove excess air, and seal the bag. Refrigerate and marinate for 6 to 8 hours.
  • Preheat the smoker to a gentle 225 to 250 degrees F (110 to 120 degrees C), then drain the beef and discard the marinade.
  • Smoke beef in the smoker until the jerky reaches a dry and chewy texture, ensuring it's not crispy, for 6 to 8 hours. Chill the jerky in the refrigerator.
