A floral and bubbly drink with rose, sweetpea, and vanilla notes - perfect for springtime romance.
Ingredients:
  • 110g caster sugar
  • Ice cubes, to serve
  • 250ml vodka
  • 30.00 ml rosewater*
  • 2 tsp grenadine*
  • 750ml dry sparkling wine, chilled
  • 6 fresh unsprayed sweetpea flowers
Instructions:
  • Chill 6 serving glasses in the fridge or freezer.
  • In a small saucepan, combine sugar and 1 cup (250ml) water over low heat. Stir and cook for 2-3 minutes until the sugar dissolves. Turn up the heat to high and boil for 2 minutes without stirring until syrupy. Let it cool slightly, then refrigerate.
  • In a large jug, combine ice, vodka, rosewater, and 90ml of sugar syrup. Stir well until chilled. Mix in grenadine and sparkling wine, then garnish with sweetpeas. Serve immediately.
