Creamy sherry-infused chicken casserole with cheesy croutons, perfect for gatherings.
Ingredients:
  • 6 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 0.5 cup sherry
  • 0.25 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup croutons
  • 0.5 cup butter, melted
  • 0.125 teaspoon dried dill weed
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • Add a touch of salt and pepper to the chicken in a 9x13 inch baking dish, then top each breast with a slice of cheese to enhance flavors.
  • Combine soup, sherry, and sour cream in a bowl, then pour over chicken. Melt butter with dill, toss croutons in the butter, and sprinkle over the chicken.
  • Roast in the oven until the chicken is cooked through, about 45 minutes.
