Elevate T-bone steak with creamy stroganoff sauce for a cozy family feast.
Ingredients:
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 250g flat mushrooms, thinly sliced
  • 125ml white wine
  • 44.40 gm tomato paste
  • 125ml beef stock
  • 125ml sour cream
  • Sea salt & freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 125.00 ml chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
  • 4 beef Tb-bone steaks
  • Mashed potatoes, to serve
Instructions:
  • In a large pan over medium heat, sauté onion and garlic in oil until soft. Add mushrooms and cook until tender. Pour in wine, tomato paste, and stock, simmer and reduce slightly. Stir in sour cream, salt, and pepper, allowing to simmer a few more minutes. Finish by stirring in parsley.
  • While you wait: gently oil and season the meat. Grill on a hot plate for 2 minutes per side or until done to your preference. Pair the steak with mashed potatoes and a lavish helping of sauce.
