Quick and delicious shepherd's pie: Saute seasoned ground beef, layer with potatoes, top with creamy mushroom soup, cheese, then bake.
Ingredients:
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 0.5 (32 ounce) package tater tots
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 1.5 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • In a big skillet over medium-high heat, sear the ground beef with the onions until golden brown. Remove any extra fat, then season with salt and pepper according to your taste buds.
  • Distribute the beef mixture evenly in a 2-quart casserole dish. Layer tater tots evenly on top of the beef. Mix soup and milk in a small bowl until smooth, then pour over the tater tots and beef. Sprinkle Cheddar cheese evenly on top.
  • Bake until the cheese is golden brown and bubbly, for about 30-40 minutes in a preheated oven.
