Baked teriyaki chicken wings with a tropical pineapple twist - a guaranteed crowd-pleaser!
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 0.25 cup pineapple juice
  • 0.25 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh garlic
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
  • 3 pounds chicken wings or drumettes
Instructions:
  • Combine water, soy sauce, sugar, pineapple juice, vegetable oil, garlic, and ginger in a large glass or ceramic bowl. Mix until sugar dissolves. Add chicken wings and coat them evenly. Cover with plastic wrap and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously grease baking dishes, then set them aside.
  • Remove chicken wings from the flavorful marinade, letting any extra drip off, and transfer them to the awaiting baking dishes; dispose of any leftover marinade.
  • Roast the chicken wings in the oven until they are fully cooked and the glaze is golden brown, approximately 1 hour. Ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) using an instant-read thermometer.
