Tender pork shoulder cooked in tangy teriyaki-orange marmalade sauce until juicy and easily shredded for endless serving possibilities.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (4.5 pound) pork shoulder roast
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 0.5 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 0.5 cup orange marmalade
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 275°F (135°C) for the perfect baking environment.
  • In a Dutch oven over medium-high heat, heat oil. Season both sides of the roast with seasoned salt. Sear in hot oil for 2 to 3 minutes per side until browned. Add garlic and saute until lightly browned, approximately 1 minute. Remove from heat and drain off excess oil.
  • Combine the teriyaki sauce, marmalade, and water in a small bowl, then drizzle the mixture over the browned roast and cover with the lid.
  • Roast in the preheated oven until fork-tender, for 2 to 3 hours. Shred the roast using 2 forks and drizzle with teriyaki juices.
