Savory beef tips with aromatic bell peppers and onions in a flavorful gravy - a guaranteed hit for mushroom skeptics!
Ingredients:
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 pounds beef tenderloin, trimmed and cut into chunks
  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon steak seasoning
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 8 fluid ounces beef broth
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced, or more to taste
  • 5 dashes Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 (.75 ounce) packet dry brown gravy mix
Instructions:
  • In a hot Dutch oven, sizzle beef, green bell pepper, onion, steak seasoning, salt, and black pepper until beef browns and nearly cooks through, about 15 to 20 minutes. Keep the flavorful beef juices in the pot.
  • Turn down the heat to medium. Stir in beef broth, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and bay leaf with the beef mixture. Simmer until the liquid thickens and the beef is fully cooked, approximately 15 minutes.
  • Lower the heat and gently incorporate the gravy mix. Simmer with the lid on until the gravy thickens and the beef becomes tender, approximately 10 minutes.
