The ultimate melt ‘n’ crunch cake

Indulgent chocolate and vanilla cake with crunchy biscuits and melty marshmallows, made extra special with McVitie's. Simply irresistible!
Ingredients:
  • 12 McVitie’s Original Digestive biscuits
  • 395g can sweetened condensed milk
  • 100g milk chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • 65g (1 cup) white and pink marshmallows
  • 340g packet vanilla cake mix
  • 125g unsalted butter, thinly sliced
  • 185ml (3/4 cup) milk
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 180C (160C fan forced) and prepare a 22cm round cake pan by greasing and lining the base and sides.
  • Place 7 whole biscuits in the bottom of the pan. Coarsely chop the rest of the biscuits. Pour condensed milk into the pan and spread evenly. Sprinkle chocolate on top. Scatter marshmallows over the chocolate layer, then sprinkle the cake mix. Level the surface. Arrange butter pieces over the cake mix and drizzle with milk. Sprinkle with the chopped biscuits.
  • Bake until golden brown, approximately 50 minutes. Allow to cool completely in the pan before serving.
  • Use a butter knife to gently loosen the cake from the edges of the pan. Invert the pan onto a large plate, remove and discard the parchment paper, then carefully flip the cake right-side up. Serve and enjoy!
