Quick and budget-friendly fried pork steaks topped with savory German mushroom sauce - perfect for busy weeknights!
Ingredients:
  • 0.75 cup Italian bread crumbs
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 0.25 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 thick-cut pork steaks
Instructions:
  • Combine bread crumbs and flour in a resealable plastic bag, and place eggs in a separate bag.
  • Coat pork steaks in the egg mixture, then transfer one steak to the bread crumbs mixture and coat evenly.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat oil. Add the coated steak to the hot oil and fry until browned on both sides, about 8 minutes per side. Ensure the internal temperature reaches at least 145 degrees F (63 degrees C) with an instant-read thermometer. Repeat the process with the remaining pork steak.
