Whip up a quick and easy thin crust pizza dough using just 6 common ingredients, then customize with your favorite toppings!
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup warm water (100 to 110 degrees F/40 to 45 degrees C)
  • 0.25 cup white sugar
  • 2.25 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 2.5 cups all-purpose flour, or more as needed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions:
  • Combine warm water and sugar in a bowl, then add yeast. Let it sit until yeast mixture is foamy, approximately 10 minutes.
  • Transfer the yeast mixture into a spacious bowl, then incorporate flour, olive oil, and salt. Knead the dough for 6 to 8 minutes, gradually adding more flour if necessary to prevent sticking. Cover the bowl and allow the dough to rest for 20 to 30 minutes.
  • Prepare the pizza pans or baking sheets by greasing them.
  • Divide the dough in half, shape each half into a ball, and use a rolling pin to create two flat, circular crusts.
  • Lay 1 piece of dough over your hands with your knuckles turned upward, positioning them under the center of the dough. gently toss and spin the dough in a circular motion using your knuckles and the backs of your hands to thin out the center and create a 1/4-inch thick edge for the pizza. Transfer the shaped dough onto the pan, aiming for a 10-inch diameter pizza. Repeat the process with the remaining dough.
