Try these irresistible tangy shrimp - perfect for any occasion. Skewer each shrimp and cover in sauce for a flavorful appetizer or buffet option.
Ingredients:
  • 2 pounds jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 0.25 cup lemon juice
  • 1 cup steak sauce (e.g. A-1)
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 fluid ounces dry sherry or Madeira
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
Instructions:
  • Season the shrimp generously with salt and pepper, then let it rest for a moment.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Stir in lemon juice, steak sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and sherry or Madeira. In a small bowl, mix flour and water, then add to the sauce, stirring until thick and smooth. Adjust consistency as needed by adding more steak sauce or sherry. Keep warm for serving with shrimp.
  • In a large skillet over high heat, combine 2 tablespoons of butter and canola oil. Once the butter has melted, add shrimp and cook until they turn pink and opaque, approximately 5 minutes. Transfer the cooked shrimp to a warm serving plate and drizzle with sauce before serving. Enjoy hot.
