Toblerone-enhanced self-saucing pudding for a decadent treat.
Ingredients:
  • 60g unsalted butter
  • 125ml (1/2 cup) milk
  • 100g (1/2 cup) caster sugar
  • 150g (1 cup) self-raising flour
  • 20.00 gm cocoa powder
  • 150g Toblerone milk chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • 310ml (1 1/4 cups) boiling water
  • 155g (3/4 cup, firmly packed) brown sugar
  • 20.00 gm cocoa powder, extra, sifted
  • Double cream, to serve
  • Caramel spread, warmed, to serve
  • 50g packet mini Toblerone milk chocolate, broken into triangles
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 180C/160C fan forced. Brush a 1.5L (6-cup) ovenproof dish with melted butter to grease it, then place it on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
  • In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine butter and milk. Microwave in 1-minute intervals, stirring each time, until melted and well mixed. Stir in caster sugar, then add flour and cocoa, mixing well. Gently fold in chopped Toblerone. Transfer mixture to a greased dish and use the back of a spoon to make the surface smooth.
  • In a large jug, stir together water, brown sugar, and 1 tablespoon of cocoa until well combined. Pour the mixture over the pudding and bake for 35-40 minutes until a cake-like top forms and a skewer inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow it to cool for 10 minutes, then dust with the remaining cocoa, spoon cream on top, drizzle with caramel, and sprinkle with Toblerone triangles.
