Decadent crumb cake with toffee bits, nuts, and streusel topping for a delightful treat!
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup butter, softened
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 (6 ounce) packages toffee baking bits
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C), then generously grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan.
  • In a large bowl, mix brown sugar, flour, and butter with an electric mixer on low speed until crumbly. Set aside 1 cup of the mixture for topping. To the remaining mixture, add egg, baking soda, milk, vanilla, and salt. Pour the thin batter into the prepared pan. Sprinkle the top with chopped walnuts, toffee bits, and the reserved crumb mixture.
  • Bake in the oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, about 35-40 minutes. Let it cool.
