Indulge in FODMAP-friendly toffee strawberries for a delightful dessert.
Ingredients:
  • 20 strawberries
  • 215.00 gm caster sugar
Instructions:
  • Skewer each strawberry and arrange them in a single layer on a baking paper-lined heatproof tray.
  • In a heavy-based saucepan, gently mix caster sugar and 1/2 cup of hot water over low heat until the sugar dissolves, about 3 minutes. Increase the heat and bring it to a boil. Let it boil without stirring for about 8 minutes or until it turns golden. Allow it to sit for 30 seconds to let the bubbles settle before using.
  • Dip each strawberry into warm toffee, place on a tray, and let the toffee set at room temperature for 15 minutes. Serve when cooled.
