Indulge in this irresistible dessert with buttery toffee for a delightful crunch, rivaling any restaurant favorite.
Ingredients:
  • 1 package (10.75 ounces) frozen pound cake loaf, thawed and cut into 9 slices
  • 3/4 cup strong coffee
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup chocolate-flavor syrup
  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups whipping (heavy) cream
  • 2 bars (1.4 ounces each) chocolate-covered toffee candy, chopped
Instructions:
  • Layer cake slices neatly in a 11x7x1 1/2 inch rectangular baking dish, trimming as needed to completely cover the bottom. Generously drizzle coffee over the cake slices.
  • In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to blend sugar, chocolate syrup, and cream cheese until smooth. Then mix in the whipping cream until the mixture is light and fluffy. Spread this creamy mixture over the cake and top it off with candy for a delicious finish.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, but no more than 24 hours.
