Slow-cooked tomatoes with chili, oregano, garlic, and pepper for a flavorful red sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 6.25 pounds tomatoes, crushed
  • 0.5 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1.5 tablespoons freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon chili seasoning mix
  • 1 tablespoon minced onion
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon finely minced fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon white sugar
Instructions:
  • In a large saucepan over gentle heat, blend together tomatoes, olive oil, pepper, chili seasoning, salt, onion, oregano, garlic powder, parsley, and sugar. Let it simmer for 1 hour. Enjoy!
