Traditional Glazed Brownie Hearts

Elevate brownie mix with creative cookie cutter shapes and frosting for a delightful treat!
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Fudge Brownie Mix
  • Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on brownie mix box
  • 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Chocolate Frosting
  • Betty Crocker™ Decorating Decors multicolored candy sprinkles or colored sugar
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Line the bottom and sides of a 13x9-inch pan with foil, then grease the bottom with shortening or cooking spray. Prepare and bake the brownie mix according to the instructions on the box. Allow to cool completely for about 1 hour.
  • Lift the brownie from the pan using foil, then remove the foil. Use a deep 2 1/2-inch heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut out 14 brownie hearts. Place the brownie hearts on a cooling rack or waxed paper.
  • Place frosting in a microwavable bowl and microwave on High for 10 to 30 seconds uncovered. Stir until the frosting is thick and spoonable, being careful not to boil it. Spoon the melted frosting over the brownies to glaze, letting the excess drip down the sides. Finish by decorating with candy sprinkles before the frosting sets.
