Elevate classic chocolate chip cookies with a variety of decadent chocolates.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 2.25 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 4 (1 ounce) squares bittersweet chocolate, chopped
  • 4 ounces milk chocolate, chopped
  • 4 ounces white chocolate, chopped
  • 3 teaspoons shortening
  • 3 (1 ounce) squares bittersweet chocolate
  • 3 ounces milk chocolate
  • 3 ounces white chocolate
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • Combine the butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy, then add the egg and mix thoroughly.
  • Combine the flour, ground cinnamon, baking soda, and salt, then fold in the nuts and the 4 ounces each of bittersweet, milk, and white chocolates.
  • Spoon dough in rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheets, keeping them 2 inches apart.
  • Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 8-10 minutes until lightly golden brown. Allow to cool briefly, then dip the cookies in the Three Chocolate Glaze.
  • Prepare the three chocolate glazes by gently heating 1 teaspoon of shortening with bittersweet chocolate on low, stirring constantly until smooth. Remove from heat. Dip each cookie 1/2 inch deep into each chocolate along one edge, rotating for variety. Repeat process with the remaining ingredients.
