Triple-choc brownie cake

Indulge in a rich triple chocolate brownie cake, featuring layers of creamy vanilla frosting and decadent chocolate ganache.
Ingredients:
  • 2 x 500g pkts Triple Chocolate Fudge Brownie Mix
  • 200g dark chocolate, chopped
  • 80ml thickened cream
  • 453g tub Creamy Deluxe Vanilla Frosting
  • Fresh raspberries or frozen raspberries, to decorate
  • Chopped candy canes, to decorate
  • Bought giant chocolate stars, to decorate
Instructions:
  • 1. Preheat your oven to 180C and generously grease and line a 3cm-deep, 23cm x 32cm cake pan with baking paper. 2. Prepare the brownie mix according to the packet instructions, then pour it into the prepared pan. 3. Bake for 35 minutes, or until a skewer inserted into the center comes out with crumbs clinging to it. 4. Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for 15 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine dark chocolate and cream. Microwave on high for 1-2 minutes until smooth. Allow the ganache to cool for 1 hour until it reaches a spreadable consistency.
  • Trim the edges of the brownie and cut into 3 equal rectangles. Arrange one rectangle on a serving plate, layer with half of the vanilla frosting, another brownie rectangle, spread with chocolate ganache, the last brownie rectangle, and the remaining vanilla frosting. Finish by decorating with raspberries, candy canes, and chocolate stars.
