Indulgent chocolate brownies, a chocoholic's dream gift.
Ingredients:
  • 200g good-quality dark chocolate, chopped
  • 200g butter, chopped
  • 270.00 gm dark brown sugar
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 4.40 gm vanilla essence
  • 200g good-quality milk chocolate, chopped
  • 200g walnut
  • 32.50 gm cocoa powder
  • Vanilla ice-cream, to serve
  • Hot chocolate fudge sauce (see note), to serve
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease a 3cm deep, 16cm x 26cm slab pan, then line it with baking paper, leaving a 2cm overhang on both long ends.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, place the dark chocolate and butter. Microwave on MEDIUM-HIGH (70%) for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring every minute with a metal spoon until almost melted. Mix until smooth, then stir in the sugar.
  • Combine eggs and vanilla with the rich chocolate mixture, ensuring a thorough mix. Gently fold in milk chocolate and crunchy walnuts. Sprinkle the perfect combination of flour and cocoa over the chocolate mixture, then stir until evenly combined.
  • Spread the brownie mixture evenly in the prepared pan, ensuring a smooth surface. Bake for 30 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs clinging. Allow to cool before serving.
  • Slice the brownie into delectable pieces and enjoy with a scoop of ice cream and luscious chocolate fudge sauce.
