Buttery, flaky crackers delicately flavored with truffle oil, salt, and Parmesan cheese.
Ingredients:
  • black truffle salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon black truffle-infused olive oil
  • 10 sheets phyllo dough, thawed
  • 1 egg white, lightly beaten
  • 0.33333334326744 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
  • freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and prepare 2 sheets of parchment paper to line a baking sheet. Mix melted butter with truffle oil in a small bowl.
  • Lay a sheet of parchment on a flat work surface. Place a sheet of phyllo dough on top. Lightly brush with the butter mixture up to the edges, ensuring not to tear it. Add another phyllo sheet on top, press down to eliminate air pockets, and brush with butter. Repeat this process 3 more times. For the 5th and final sheet, brush with egg white. Sprinkle on half of the Parmesan cheese, truffle salt, and pepper.
  • Slice the phyllo into 40 squares or your desired shapes with a pizza cutter, then transfer the parchment paper onto the baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 6 to 8 minutes until lightly browned. Keep a close watch as they brown quickly. Remove from oven, discard parchment, and allow to cool.
  • Continue these steps with the rest of the ingredients. Allow the crackers to cool before serving immediately or store them in a sealed container at room temperature.
