Tuna and avocado salsa with chargrilled bread

Ingredients:
  • 1 x 185g can tuna in spring water, drained (see note)
  • 1/2 small Lebanese cucumber, diced
  • 1/2 ripe tomato, diced
  • 20.00 ml finely diced red onion
  • 40.00 ml reduced-fat yoghurt
  • 39.60 gm reduced-fat mayonnaise
  • 20.00 ml dill, chopped
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1 small avocado, quartered, stone removed, peeled
  • chargrilled bread, to serve
Instructions:
  • In a bowl, combine tuna with a fork. Add cucumber, tomato, onion, yogurt, mayonnaise, dill, and half of the lemon juice. Mix well and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Dice the creamy avocado, then generously drizzle with the zesty lemon juice. Gently fold the avocado through the flavorful tuna mixture. Scoop the delicious tuna into serving bowls and top with fresh dill for a touch of herbaceous goodness. Serve this delectable dish with chargrilled bread for a satisfying meal.
