Turkey bolognaise with silverbeet

Boost your bolognaise with nutrient-packed veggies like carrots, celery, and silverbeet.
Ingredients:
  • 375g spaghetti
  • 9.20 gm olive oil
  • 1 brown onion, finely chopped
  • 1 celery stick, finely chopped
  • 1 carrot, finely chopped
  • 500g Turkey Mince
  • 420g jar cherry tomato and basil tomato pasta sauce
  • 4 silverbeet leaves, trimmed, chopped
  • Grated parmesan, to serve
  • Flat-leaf parsley, chopped, to serve
Instructions:
  • Prepare the pasta in a generous amount of salted boiling water as per package instructions or until it reaches the desired firmness. Drain the pasta.
  • Heat oil in a large deep frying pan over medium-high heat. Sauté onion, celery, and carrot for 5 minutes until just softened. Add mince and brown for 7 minutes, breaking up any lumps with a wooden spoon. Pour in pasta sauce and simmer. Finally, stir in silverbeet and cook until just wilted, about 5 minutes.
  • Combine the pasta with the turkey mixture and stir until warmed. Serve the pasta with a sprinkle of parmesan and parsley on top.
