Ingredients:

1kg strawberries, hulled (to give 900g)
200g fresh raspberries
200g icing sugar
Waffle ice cream cones, to serve (optional)

Instructions:

Blend all ingredients in a food processor until smooth. Then, pass the mixture through a fine sieve, pressing firmly to get rid of any excess liquid. Remove and discard any solids remaining.
Process the puree in an ice cream machine following the manufacturer's guidelines, then freeze until solid. If hand-churning, refer to the note provided. Serve in cones if preferred.
