Whip up irresistible two-ingredient dough Pizza Pinwheels for a perfect party appetizer or game night snack!
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups self-rising flour, plus more for kneading
  • 1 cup whole-milk plain Greek yogurt
  • 0.25 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 ounces sliced pepperoni
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.5 cup marinara sauce
Instructions:
  • Combine flour and yogurt in a large bowl until a smooth dough ball forms. Transfer to a lightly floured surface and knead for 2 to 3 minutes until the dough is smooth, adding flour as needed to prevent sticking.
  • Roll out the dough into a 10x14-inch rectangle. Evenly spread pizza sauce over the dough. Arrange pepperoni slices on top and sprinkle with cheese, ensuring to leave a 1-inch border bare along one long edge for sealing the dough once rolled up.
  • Roll the rectangle tightly from one long end to the other, then seal the roll by lightly brushing a bit of water along the inner edge of the dough. Transfer the roll onto a sheet of parchment paper and freeze for 15 to 20 minutes to firm up and facilitate slicing.
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  • Cut the roll into 1-inch pieces and spread them out on the baking sheet, allowing space of 2 inches between each piece. Reshape as necessary. Drizzle the tops with butter and generously sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 18 to 22 minutes until lightly browned. Serve with marinara sauce for dipping, if desired.
