Indulge in rich and decadent chocolate coffee liqueur mocha brownies - a must-have treat for any dessert spread.
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 cup packed dark brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons coffee-flavored liqueur
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3/4 cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened baking cocoa
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon light corn syrup
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips (6 oz)
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line an 8-inch square pan with foil and generously spray the foil with cooking spray.
  • In a 3-quart saucepan, gently melt together 1/2 cup of chocolate chips and 1/2 cup of butter on low heat, stirring continuously. Once melted, take off the heat and allow it to cool. Mix in brown sugar, eggs, 2 tablespoons of liqueur, and vanilla using a whisk. Add flour, cocoa, and salt, and mix well. Spread the mixture evenly in a pan and bake for 20 minutes or until the center is firm. Once baked, let it cool completely.
  • In a medium bowl, use an electric mixer on medium speed to blend the frosting ingredients until smooth and easily spreadable. Cover the brownies with the frosting and chill in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes. In a small microwavable bowl, heat the glaze ingredients on High for 1 minute, stir, then microwave for an additional 15 seconds and stir until completely melted and smooth. Drizzle the glaze over the frosting and spread it evenly. Refrigerate until the glaze sets. Slice into 8 rows by 4 rows using a wet knife. Store covered in the refrigerator.
